  • Assistive Technologist
  • £30,405 per annum
  • 42 hours per week – term time only

An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit an Assistive Technologist to join our well-established and respected team. In this role you will research, develop and implement appropriate technical and engineering solutions to promote independence to students. You will work within a truly multi-disciplinary environment and will be expected to complete joint assessments as well as engage students in decision making about assistive technology provision.

The successful candidate will be educated to HND/degree level in engineering or relevant technical area. You will have experience of providing assistive technology or rehabilitation engineering solutions to people with physical disabilities. Experience of wheelchair driving systems, mounting communication devices and special needs computing is highly desirable.
