JISC TechDis

The JISC TechDis Service:

• Advises, encourages and promotes technical and ICT access issues that enhance teaching and learning.
• Manages, on behalf of the LSC, the distribution of funding for the promotion of the increased use of ILT and e-learning in Independent Specialist Colleges.
• Promotes the sharing of good practice in the use of e-learning and technology.

The JISC TechDis Service aims to be the leading educational advisory service, working across the UK, in the fields of accessibility and inclusion. Our mission is to support the education sector in achieving greater accessibility and inclusion by stimulating innovation and providing expert advice and guidance on disability and technology.

JISC TechDis provides advice and guidance through its website and publications and an email helpdesk service.
