Livability is the operating name of Grooms-Shaftesbury

Livability’s Further Education centres are committed to providing high quality post-16 education for young adults with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.

Residential and day provision are offered at two centres:

Hinwick Hall College of Further Education, near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Nash College of Further Education, in Bromley, Kent

Both provide holistic education through a curriculum geared to the development of the individual. We encourage students to pursue outside interests and live a full social life. In particular, we support young people in developing skills that maximise their independence and choice as they prepare for life beyond full time education.
Livability is the largest Christian disability charity in the UK. We work in partnership with local authorities and other voluntary groups. The two colleges seek to provide high quality education and care for people of all faiths or none.
