The NVA is an award winning, online learning community and real-time teaching environment. It is used by young people with a wide range of needs and requirements to participate in personalised learning programmes, access specialist support services and interact with their peers through a vibrant, safe and secure online community.
The unique pedagogies developed by the NVA enable young people to participate in programmes that have been individually tailored to meet their specific requirements and circumstances, in addition to providing access to a range of specialist support.
The NVA provides a broad curriculum from KS2 to KS5. Each programme includes a timetable of live, fully interactive lessons supported by self-paced individual and group work. Directed by fully qualified specialist teachers, live learning can be delivered to any location using the latest online classroom technology - providing a highly engaging and effective learning experience.
Specialist support is delivered both locally through partnerships and online through the NVA’s Wellbeing Centre. This enables students exhibiting challenging behaviour to participate in accredited programmes with educational psychologists and other specialists.
