General Description of College:
Nash College, part of Livability, has pleasant, wooded grounds and is situated on the outskirts of SE London. We offer a flexible package of learning to suit the individual learner including full or part time day or residential places and courses. A range of services is delivered by a highly specialist team of education, care, therapy and nursing practitioners.
The Curriculum:
Nash Curriculum Core Principle is to improve quality of life and build on the strengths of the individual. This leads to improved social communication and reduced dependence as learners transition out of the college. Every learner has an individualised programme offer and specialist multi-disciplinary support tailored to identified needs, wishes and interests in order to achieve their long term goals. All students’ have their learning accredited through the Foundation Learning Programme.
Specialist Facilities:
The college provides sensory and structured learning environments and a range of on and offsite work related learning and therapeutic opportunities are available which can be accessed by students with diverse abilities and needs. Residential learners live in single rooms on the college campus or in specially adapted flats which further extend learning of independent living skills.
